The Futuristic Beauty
Spectacular futuristic show, featuring a recycled design competition, fashion tech designs, body painting and dance entertainment. A fundraising event in aid of Nepalese children.
SUPPORTING THE WORK OF YOUNG IRISH ARTISTS:
This event features a student fashion design competition. "Like the Phoenix, Cradle rebuilds communities from the ash and rubble of war and natural disaster" - with that in mind students are challenged to create something beautiful from recycled materials. Cradle works closely with some fashion colleges in Dublin therefore giving a unique opportunity to young designers to create a "Futuristic Beauty" collection, which has to be made from unusual textiles. A great way to showcase strong skills and creativity.
