Dublin Fashion Festival 2016 Highlights
Where do we even begin?! What a week!
The Dublin Fashion Festival in association with Galaxy Chocolate has come to an end (*sniff sniff*), but what an incredible week it has been! From on-street fashion shows and workshops, to extravagant catwalk spectaculars and giveaways galore! We’re making #ThrowBackMonday a thing and taking a look back at all of the wonderful memories from this years festival.
Firstly, lets recap on the #DublinFashion looks of the week (hands up if you WISH you had these hair and makeup skills!).

The on-street fashion shows are always a highlight of each year’s festival, displaying all that Dublin city centre fashion retailers, hair salons and beauty salons have to offer. Well lets just say, we’ve pretty much already spent our next paycheque after seeing all of the fab outfits, accessories and shoes on offer in #DublinTown!
Whether you caught the fashion on Henry Street 0r Grafton Street, we have no doubt you have your Christmas wardrobe picked out already (are we allowed to say that?? Sure it’s never too early for a little bit of a winter wardrobe revamp!)
The Dublin Fashion Festival in association with #GalaxyStyle showcases the best of #DublinFashion. Here are some of our favourite looks from the different shows that took place during the week (It was impossible to include them all, so here’s a taster!)

We couldn’t have a highlights blog post without including the incredible designs by the 12 finalists of the Young Designer of the Year competition! Their designs were featured in the #DublinFashion Lookbook, with 80,000 copies distributed during the festival.
For first time ever we included kids into the Creative Quarter Fashion show in Powerscourt Town Centre. The kids did a fantastic job of representing childrenswear from Jojo Maman Bebe (pictured above), Wicklow Street and from Petit, Exchequer Street.
That’s a wrap! We still have tonnes of content to share with you guys from the festival, so stay tuned for more #DublinFashion updates.
From the entire #DublinFashion team, thank you for joining us and for making this another fantastic festival to remember!
