22 Dublin Town Beauty Spots Shortlisted in IMAGE Awards 2019
Congratulations are in order for a number of our DublinTown members as 22 beauty spots are shortlisted in IMAGE Business of Beauty Awards 2019!
Every year, the magazine and online publication puts together an awards ceremony that celebrates the beauty industry. From hair stylists and makeup artists to beauticians, entrepreneurs to front of house – there is an award for every category. We are delighted that 22 of our members and DublinTown businesses are shortlisted and wish them all the very best of luck!
Up for the Best Nail Salon are Glam Nail & Beauty on Trinity Street, Nails Dublin whose two locations include Wicklow Street and Jervis Shopping Centre, Fifth Avenue Dublin on Wicklow Street, as well as Tropical Popical on South Williams Street and Genevieve Nail & Beauty on Castle Market.
South William Street businesses are popular amongst those shortlisted. For the Best Aesthetic Clinic award, Thérapie and South William Clinic & Spa are in the running, while Brown Sugar is nominated for Best Front of House Experience.
Nominees for the Best Hair Salon award include Preen on Dame Street, Alan Keville in Powerscourt Townhouse Centre, Dry & Fly on Wicklow Street as well as Brown Sugar and Zeba Hairdressing, both on South William Street.
When it comes to brows, look to Rachel Bryan of Claudine King Brows & Beauty who is nominated for Best Lash Artist while Claudine King herself is up for Best Brow Artist, as well as Katie Tiernan of Benefit Boutique.
Maria Rajska of The Buff Day Spa on South King Street and Marion Fréjaville of South William Clinic & Spa have both been added to the shortlist as Best Beauty Therapist. As for the best gals to get your nails did, Rebecca McParland at Tropical Popical on South William Street and Rachel Dempsey at The Beauty Lounge Brown Thomas are in the running to pick up Best Nail Technician.
If it’s a tanning professional you’re looking to book with, visit Sinead Quinn at The Buff Day Spa and Leanne Teeling at Benefit Boutique on South William Street who’ve been shortlisted as Best Tanning Professional.
The Best Make-up Artist award nominees include Tara Donaghy at Preen, Kirstie Murphy at Charlotte Tilbury in Brown Thomas and John Bowes of Brown Sugar.
Easily one of the best award category named, the Best Bloody Brilliant Blow-dry nominees Neill Ryan at Sugar Cubed and Hannah Carroll at Dylan Bradshaw both on South William Street, as well as Jamie Corrigan of The Hive on Dame Lane.
Whereas Suzi Lee at Preen, Alex Reid at Alan Keville, Aimee Penco at Brown Sugar, and Aoife Bradley at Cats Hair Salon in the Westbury Mall are in the running for the Best Hair Colourist award.
The Most Creative Talent in Hair award nominees include Stephen Kelly at Zeba Hairdressing, Michael Corcoran at Peter Mark, Sorina Pantea at Cowboys and Angels on South William Street and James Coleman at Brown Sugar too. While Karen Fraher of The Hive and Dylan Bradshaw of Dylan Bradshaw are nominated as the Best Hairstylist.
