Dublin Fashion Street Style June 16
Street style has become as popular and sought after as the styles on the runway and it seems to be the way forward for raw, immediate and unique fashion. Check out our street style photos of some fashionable Dubliners on the streets of #DublinTown in the Creative Quarter in June.
Another great month for street style. It’s crazy what a bit of sun can do. Keep it coming we say! Here’s some more photos of you beauties. Photos by Elaine Castro.
Jean Corcoran
Jean wears: Dress-Carousel, Scarf-Oxfam, Shoes-Penneys.
What she thinks of Dublin style: It’s great. It has come on a lot. People are putting the effort in. We definitely take advantage of the seasons. In winter we’re wearing cool coats and in summer we’re hardly wearing anything at all!
Martia Villarrubia (Spanish)
Martia wears: Dress-Blanco, Coat-Stradivarius, Bag-Bimba Y Lola.
What she thinks of Dublin style: Loves it. You can wear whatever you want here. People don’t judge what you wear which is very different to Spain. Spanish style is much more classic.
Katie Culleton
Katie wears: T-shirt and Trousers-Topshop, Jacket-Cos, Shoes-Acne.
What she thinks of Dublin style: It’s too safe.
Ellis Fagan and Daryl Bengo
Ellis wears: Jacket-CMMN SWDN, Shirt-Thrift store, T-shirt-Dries Van Noten, Pants-Nudie.
Daryl wears: Jacket-Vintage, Jumper and Trousers-Topman, Shoes-Nowhere Dublin.
What they think of Dublin style: It’s so behind. It’s slow. We should be trusting in someone that knows fashion. Believe in the youth. There’s no local fashion scene.
Aideen Feely
Aideen wears: Jacket-Marks & Spencer, Top-Bershka, Jeans-Oasis, Neck Piece and Shoes-ZARA.
What she thinks of Dublin style: It’s good but quite casual. We wear a lot of coats and black. It’s better than LA style though!
Ross Horan
Ross wears: Adidas Jacket bought on eBay, Slayer Top bought on eBay, Jeans-River Island.
What he thinks of Dublin style: It’s cool. Everyone dresses well and puts in time to how they look. It’s interesting to see how people put a look together.
Alex Corrigan and Jason Bell
Alex wears: Jacket-Boohoo.com, Jeans-River Island, Hat-Topshop.
Jason wears: Vintage Levis Denim Jacket-Fresh, Cotton Farm Top-TK Maxx, Jeans-Topman, Nike Shoes bought in Amsterdam.
What they think of Dublin style: It’s alright. After spending time in Amsterdam the style there is on top. It’s very trendy. It’s on a different level to Dublin style.
Lindsay Hamilton and Josh Gordon
Lindsay wears: Outfit from Topshop.
Josh wears: Shirt-Lucy’s Lounge and Jeans-Acne.
What they think of Dublin style: Each to their own. It’s very dark. It needs to be brighter.
