If you are a film and costume design buff, then head on over to Powerscourt Centre for this exciting exhibition!
This year, Dublin International Film Festival has partnered with the Irish Costume Archive Project to showcase a collection from their archive of Irish film and television costumes. The Irish Costume Archive Project has been established to preserve and exhibit Ireland’s film and television design heritage and promote it both at home and abroad.
With the release of films such as The Favourite, Mary Queen of Scots and Peterloo, it’s no secret that costume design is to the fore this year, so it’s the perfect time to see this exhibition titled ‘In the Name of the Costume’.
