Tasty Threads is a unique fashion exchange located on Middle Abbey Street, in the Dublin One area. Everything is hand-picked individually by founder Freddie Mehigan and his style team, where their store is not displayed by brands but rather by style.
Having found his love for fashion trading in San Diego, the young Irishman returned to his roots and opened up shop in January 2018 where his store operates on a buy, sell and trade concept. You’ll find one of a kind pieces to the store from designer and boutique labels with some vintage thrown stylishly into the mix.
Freddie buys the stock one by one, and though he hasn’t worked in fashion before, visitors to the store have noticed his eye for good style. The premises were reimagined by Freddie and his friends, exposing the original brick work and flooring, while using the old wooden laminate for shelving and making do of the air duct that runs into the neighbouring restaurant.
The premises is also home to Neighbourhood Coffee, set up by Freddie’s two friends in partnership, where altogether they run a collaborative space which helps both businesses gain double the footfall.
